5 Ways To Set A New Direction In Your Life

You are the sum total of everything that has been done to you, spoken over you, what has happened to you, and what you choose to hold onto.

But guess what?! You have the power to change the narrative in your own life!

Are you feeling stuck in your life?

Well, maybe it’s time reroute the direction of your life!


Here are FIVE steps to help you set a new direction in your life:

Step 1: Write down the top 10 qualities about yourself that you love

Step 2: Make “I am” statements out of those 10 qualities and speak those over yourself every morning for the next month

Step 3: Evaluate yourself and the people around you. You are the sum total of the 5 people you spend the most time with, so make sure they add value to your life not take away.

Step 4: Reevaluate your vision board. Have you reached any of your goals this year or are you on your way to reaching them? If not, sit down and make a plan to start reaching those goals. You can do it! (And if you haven't created your vision board it’s never too late! Create one today.)

Step 5: Write down your top 10 attainable goals for the week and work your hardest to reach them! Little victories add up to huge wins over time!

From the overflow of the heart, the mouth spills over. Broken people set out to break other people. You have the power to replace those words that have been spoken over you with new ones!

Don’t hold onto and give power to the words that a broken person spoke into your life. Seek to overcome those and only speak love and life into yourself and others.


Start speaking life and encouragement over yourself and see how you become radically free.


You are the creator of your reality and you are made in the image of God.
